Lyle Zell Peterson died on April 17, 1993 at home in Richfield, Utah.
He was born January 6, 1916 in Richfield, Utah to Joseph Morton and Nelda Marie Busk Peterson. He graduated from Richfield High School. He married Ila Mae Despain April 12, 1945 in the Manti LDS Temple. He has been active in the LDS Church his entire life, serving an LDS mission in the Northwestern States Mission. He was an active supporter of scouting, having completed Wood Badge and received the Silver Beaver Award. We love and will miss him, and rejoice with him in a life of accomplishment.He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years; three daughters and their husbands: Kay and David Ohlin, Salt Lake City, Utah; Ruth and Don Newman, Cedar City, Utah; Peggy Clark, Phoenix, Arizona; four grandchildren; two brothers and one sister: Eldred Peterson, Ehrmel Peterson, Verlene Wrigley, all of Richfield, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers and three sisters, one grandson, and a son-in-law.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 1993 at 1 p.m. in the Richfield 11th LDS Ward Chapel, 985 South 400 West, Richfield, Utah. Friends may call at the Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary in Richfield on Tuesday evening, 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial, Richfield City Cemetery.
