With love and sorrow we announce the death of Thomas Charles Skidmore, our beloved husband and father.
He was born in Salt Lake City on December 14, 1942, and died from cancer April 18, 1993.He was the son of Demoivre Ray and Marion Burke Skidmore. He married Stormy Eichbauer, September 1, 1965 in the Salt Lake Temple.
He is survived by his mother, Marion; his wife, Stormy and his seven children: Lance D., Jacob M., Kevin T., Karin, Thomas B., Michael D., Chad R., and Bulent Sensoy, from Cyprus; also survived by three brothers and one sister and their spouses, Ray B. and RuLynn; David R. and Nedra; William B.; and Marianne Williams and her husband, Terry.
Tom was a caring physician and practiced at L.D.S. Hospital for seventeen years in obstetrics and gynecology. He was a tender husband and devoted father. He loved riding motorcycles with his children, water sports, and jogging. He served an LDS mission to West Germany.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 21, 1993 at the Ensign Fifth Ward, Hilltop and 18th Ave, at 12 noon. Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday night and from 11-11:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Primary Children's Medical Center, 100 No. Medical Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah. 84113.
