Dear Do-It Man: I have written Reader's Digest several letters requesting information about our subscription. I would like to know when it expires. I have never received a reply. It seems strange a company that big would not acknowledge my letters.

I thought the magazine would have a toll-free phone number but I can't find one listed in the magazine.Several people have given us gift subscriptions. That's why I'm not sure how far it's paid up.

Dear R.H.: A customer service representative told us your subscription expires in July of the year 2000. He also said the expiration date is listed on the mailing label on the brown paper wrapper the magazine comes in.

Rather than corresponding, it's easier to get information from Reader's Digest by calling its toll-free number: 1-800-234-9000.
