Elva Glover Evans, age 80, passed away April 4, 1993 at home in Salt Lake City of causes incident to age.

Born August 25, 1912 to Albert and Clara Rozella Erickson Glover in Midvale, Utah. Married Louis Clark Evans on June 1, 1946 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Louis preceded her in death on April 24, 1985.Elva graduated from the University of Utah in elementary education. She loved teaching and working with children and taught in elementary schools in the Jordan and Salt Lake School Districts for 35 years. She was a member of Lambda Delta Sigma and taught piano at the Mozart School of Music. She was an active member of the LDS Church. She served a mission in the Eastern States. She spent many years teaching in Relief Society and Sunday School and was an organist in her ward. She always helped those in need and gave countless hours of service to those around her.

Elva's greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her five children, Sylvia Rushton (Terry), Albert L. Evans (Becky), David G. Evans (Kari), Richard C. Evans (Joanie) Robert L. Evans (MaryLou); 21 grandchildren; sisters, Fay Petersen (LaMar), Alta Lyon (Lloyd), Donna Glover Watson, Maxine Howland (Kay); brother, G. Calvin Glover (Barbara). Preceded in death by sisters, Martha and Jenny Glover; brothers, Melvin and Harold L. Glover (Ruth).

Funeral services Friday, April 9th, at 12 noon, Douglas Ward Chapel, 721 South 1200 East. Friends may call Thursday evening 6-8 p.m., at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, and at the Ward on Friday, 11 - 11:45 a.m.

Burial will be at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
