Several agencies have joined in establishing a clothing bank here.

Linda Bateman, Ephraim, the volunteer manager, said a centralized countywide program will be more effective in meeting the clothing needs of people who need help because they're unemployed or on very limited means than several programs scattered throughout the county. The sponsors are the USU Extension Service in Manti, Gunnison City, the Catholic Center, Turning Point, the Hispanic Center and Ephraim City, all in Ephraim, and the Food Bank and the Head Start program in Mt. Pleasant.

Snow College is contributing the use of the Commodore Building on the school's west campus. ZCMI has donated clothing racks and the proceeds from the Mexican Fiesta will help build shelving.
