Melisa Barton Christensen, age 19, died May 11, 1993 in Salt Lake City.
Born July 17, 1973 in Provo, Utah, daughter of Donald James and Patricia Lee Toth Barton. Married Shane F. Christensen July 2, 1992 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.She is survived by her husband, Shane; and daughter, Jessica Elaine Christensen, both of Salt Lake City; parents, Don and Pat Barton; Fred and Susan Christensen, all of West Valley City; grandparents, Mason and Barbara Barton, St. George; John and Zellah Toth, LDS Hungary Mission; Ortho and Bernice Christensen, Moapa, Nevada; Leland and Audrey Sanderson, Erueka, Utah; sisters, Vicky and Stephanie Barton, both of West Valley City.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 10 a.m., at the Copper Hill 2nd Ward, 6710 West 4145 South. Friends may call Friday, 5-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Saturday, at the church, one hour prior to services.
Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
