Macey's Food Stores is building a new 35,000-square-foot corporate headquarters and central warehouse at 9091 S. Sandy Parkway that is scheduled for completion in July.

The Facilities Development Group of Layton Construction Co. is directing the design and construction of the new building for Parkway Partner, a partnership of local businessmen. Layton also is building a new Macey's store in the High Point Center for Woodbury Amsource, that is scheduled to be opened in the summer.Parkway Partners also is seeking a Class A tenant for an additional 16,000 square-feet that will be built in conjunction with the Macey's headquarters and warehouse.
