After more than three months' pre-production preparation in England, producer-writer-director Jerry Zucker has indefinitely delayed "First Knight," budgeted at $35 million to $40 million.

Zucker, whose last film was the highly successful "Ghost," said he had hoped to begin shooting "First Knight" this summer but script revisions necessitated the delay."First Knight" is an action-adventure story based on King Arthur and Sir Lancelot. According to a Zucker spokesman, the picture - as yet uncast - now is scheduled to begin next fall or winter.
