Factory Stores of America, Smithfield, N.C., a real estate company that owns and manages factory outlet centers, has purchased 25 outlet centers, including the VF Factory Outlet Center, 12101 S. Factory Outlet Road. Effective immediately, the name will be changed to America Outlet Center.
Dixon Fleming, chairman of Factory Stores, said few changes are planned as the transfer takes place. "Our intent is to continue operating as a true factory-direct outlet center. Any specific plans for changes in the Factory Stores of American Factory Outlet Center in Draper are in the development stage at this point," he said.The centers feature various name brands and companies such as Lee, Wrangler, Jantzen, Vanity Fair, Health-Tex, Van Heusen, Bass Shoes, Geoffrey Beene, L'Eggs, Hanes, Bali, Champion, Bugle Boy, London Fog, Revlon and Easy Spirit, Capezio and Pappagallo shoes.
