Bernice Peck Bennion, age 91, passed away comfortably June 27, 1993 in Salt Lake City, Utah, after a brief and sudden illness.
She was born August 6, 1901 in Woods Cross, Utah to Herman A. Peck and Minnie Ure Peck. Married Kenneth Sharp Bennion on January 20, 1922 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was a faithful and active member of the LDS Church. She will be remembered for her kindness and life of service to others.Survived by daughters, Jean B. Hill (Robert), Orem, Utah; and Anne B. Jenson (Conrad), Salt Lake City; daughter-in-law, Faun Twelves Bennion; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Kenneth S. Bennion, son, Kenneth S. Bennion Jr., and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 1st, at the Ensign First Ward, 9th Avenue and "D" Street at 12 noon. Friends may call Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, and Thursday at the ward one hour prior to services. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
