Darryl Strawberry made his first appearance with the Los Angeles Dodgers since May 12 when he started in left field Saturday night against the Atlanta Braves.

Strawberry, placed on the disabled list on May 13 because of lower back stiffness, was activated late Friday night after Los Angeles' 5-4 victory over Atlanta. He batted .316 during his recent rehabilitation assignment with Class AAA Albuquerque of the Pacific Coast League.Los Angeles Manager Tom Lasorda kept Strawberry's replacement, Cory Snyder, in right field Saturday night and benched left fielder Eric Davis. Entering the game, Snyder was hitting .324; Davis was batting .216.

"I'm not going to play him in right field. The guy we have in right field (Snyder) is doing a great job. I'm not going to take him out of the lineup."
