Snowbird will hold its annual Outdoor Sports Festival this week. Scheduled events include sport climbing, mountain biking and volleyball. The latest in outdoor equipment will also be on display.
Climbing will take place on the Cliff Lodge Climbing wall on Saturday and Sunday. Climbing will begin at 9:30 a.m. each day.The Mountain bout Bike Race will take place on Saturday. The challenging cross-country course has been set in Gad Valley and will start at 9:30 a.m.
Utah's top men and wome players will compete in two-on-two volleyball Saturday throught Monday. All games will begin at 8:30 a.m.
The Sports Expos, a show of sporting goods manufacturers, retailers, travel companies and other sports related suppliers, will display and demonstrate their products on Saturday and Sunday. Hours will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Spectators are welcome to all events. There is no charge for admission. Lawn seating is available at the climbing and volleyball competition. There will also be sideline observation at the mountain bike event.
