I would appreciate knowing the mission statement, guiding principles, objectives and purposes of the American Civil Liberties Union. This organization has an extensive influence upon the affairs of our nation. I understand that Ms. Ginsburg, nominee for Supreme Court, worked for nine years for the ACLU.
Inasmuch as many others are interested in this information, I wondered if the officers of the ACLU might be willing to submit this to the Readers' Forum. The purpose of this request is for improved understanding and to be better informed.Don S. Robertson
