Bryan P. Ruff, 22, found on July 10, 1993 near Fairfield, in Utah County, was born August 12, 1969 in Bristol, Connecticut to Franklin Donald and Patricia Ann McCrone Ruff. Bryan married Jennifer Ryan on April 20, 1989 in the Atlanta, Georgia LDS Temple.
Bryan was a wrestler in high school, going to State. He went on to wrestle for Ricks College for one year; also worked as an EMT for a year. When he disappeared, he was attending SLCC working towards a nursing degree. No matter what his accomplishments, being with his daughter, Brittany, filled and made his life complete. Bryan has been greatly missed by all who knew him.Bryan is survived by his wife; daughters, Brittany and Jessica Ruff; his parents; two brothers, Craig (Beth), Kevin (Pam), and Todd Ruff, all of South Carolina; parents-in-law, Mike and Norma Ryan, Sandy; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Allison, Kevin, Andrea, Carolyn, Christopher, and Matthew; his grandmother, Wilma Ruff, Ohio; and two nieces.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 16, 1993, at 1 p.m., at the Crescent 1st Ward, 89 East 11000 South. A gathering for friends and family will be held on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Lake Hills Mortuary, 10055 South State Street. Interment, Lake Hills Memorial Park.
His beautiful spirit will live on and be remembered.
