Chuck Jones, Marla Maples' former publicist, has slapped Donald Trump with a lawsuit accusing him of helping feed the press with false stories about Jones stealing Maples' shoes, underwear, nude photos and diary.
Jones, 50, has been charged with offenses that include burglary and possession of stolen property.Trump was named in the lawsuit Wednesday along with Maples' mother, six New York Post reporters and others. The Post articles attributed the information mostly to police and unidentified sources. The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages.
Trump called the lawsuit ridiculous and said Jones is "just trying to get a few bucks."
"Chuck needs some serious psychological help," Trump said.
Neither Maples nor the newspaper was named as a defendant.
