Leroy "Kim" Ellis, age 37, died July 15, 1993 at Zion's Canyon, Utah.

Born November 10, 1955 at Dugway, Utah to Udell and Theo Dennison Ellis and raised by his stepfather, Deloy Beckstead. Married Tina Marie Carpenetti, Oakland LDS Temple, on September 10, 1977.He had been employed at Sysco Intermountain and L.M.C. Construction.

Kim was the best Dad and Husband. He was active in the LDS Church serving as Scoutmaster, Cubmaster, Elders Quorum president, Sunday School president; his best love was as Nursery leader. He also served a full-time mission. Words can't express the kind of outstanding warm person he was. Everyone loved him and all who knew him will miss him - especially his humor and smile. He gave the ultimate for those he loved.

Survived by his wife, Tina Marie; sons and daughters, Shayne 14, Brandi 13, Jeffrey 11, Cyndal 8, Zachary 6, Ashley 2, and Joshua 8 months; parents, Deloy and Theo Beckstead; and Albert and Carol Carpenetti; brothers and sisters, Lynn, Kerry, Dana, Lori, Tracy, Edie, April, Elise, Aaron, Royal, and Todd; sister-in-law, Toni; stepbrothers, Kevin, Bryant, and Mark.

Funeral services on Friday, July 23, at 12 noon, Riviera LDS Ward Chapel, 601 Mansfield Avenue (3115 South), where family and friends may call Thursday evening 6 - 8 p.m., and Friday, 10:45 - 11:45 a.m. Burial will be in the South Jordan City Cemetery under direction of Larkin Mortuary.

Contributions may be made to a Memorial Fund set up in Kim's name.
