It was with courage and determination that Vicky faced the leukemia that eventually took her life on August 13, 1993. Her example of strength and zest for life will be remembered by the many who love her.

Vicky was one who was always willing to help others. She considered her commitments a priority, and made every effort to keep them. She enjoyed ALL of the outdoors, loved animals, and pursued singing in her extra time.Born July 25, 1963 in Salt Lake City to Francis James and Louese Burnett Johnson. She married Brett Hull and later divorced; however, they remained friends and Brett stood by during her struggle. During the more than 10 years she worked at H20 Company, she earned the friendship of many of her customers. She was an art student at the University of Utah studying graphic design.

She is survived by her mother and father; sisters, Sandy Sherman, Janeel Salmond, and Lenore Beckstrom; brothers, Bryce and Joel; as well as her faithful companions, Beau and Cody.

Family and friends will gather Monday evening, August 16, at the home of Louese Johnson (6036 South 2230 East) to celebrate Vicky's life and share their love and memories of her. Early arrival at 7:30 p.m. with celebration at 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Cancer Society or the University of Utah Cancer Clinic.
