MAVERIK WILL ACQUIRE 10 7-ELEVEN STORES

Maverik Country Stores plans to acquire 10 7-Eleven stores in central and southern Utah. Terms were not disclosed.

The stores are located in Price, Huntington, Salina, Richfield, two stores in Cedar City, Hurricane and three stores in St. George.The Maverik store in Richfield will be consolidated into the larger 7-Eleven facility, and one of the 7-Eleven stores in St. George will be closed.

Maverik will offer jobs to the affected 7-Eleven employees and train them.

Maverik, headquartered in Afton, Wyo., operates 112 convenience stores in eight Western states.
