Ellis Orien Mosdell, 68, died Saturday, August 21, 1993 at his home in Cedar City.
Born July 19, 1925 in Cedar City, Utah to Charles Melvin and Margaret Ann Perkins Mosdell. Married Connie Carter October 30, 1949 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were later sealed June 1968 in the St. George LDS Temple.Ellis was a member of the LDS Church. He owned and operated Mosdell Sanitation and was a hard worker. Ellis served in World War II with the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed the mountains, his cabin, hunting and fishing, and was a member of the Elks Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Connie; three sons and two daughters, Mrs. Brent (Tauna) Johnson, Charles E. Mosdell, Greg L. and Myra Mosdell, Mrs. Dan (Lauri) Evans, all of Cedar City, Utah; and Sheryl L. and Belinda Mosdell of Las Vegas, Nevada; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother, Jack, and a sister, Mrs. Sheldon (O'Dean) Olds, both of Cedar City.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 24, 1993 at 11 a.m. at the Cedar Stake Center, 400 South 100 East. Friends may call Monday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Southern Utah Mortuary. Interment, Cedar City Cemetery.
