Beverly Jean Wilkinson Young passed away August 29, 1993 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born August 7, 1946 in Salt Lake City to Willard and Thelma Brown Wilkinson. Married Brad Young March 16, 1978 in Las Vegas, Nevada; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Active member of LDS Church, spending many years involved in the Young Women's Program. Girl's camp was the highlight of her summer. She served as president of Canyon View Elementary PTA. Beverly dedicated her life to her two loving children, husband, family and friends. She always kept a great sense of humor even until the very end-forcing those in attendance to hear her blonde joke being told to her son.
Survived by husband, Brad; daughter, Cynthia; son, John; "dogs" Tiffany and Kona; mother, Thelma Elkins; father and stepmother, Willard and Betty Wilkinson; brother, Ron Wilkinson; sisters, Donna Wallis and Janet Nielsen; brother, Lyle Wilkinson; sisters, Shauna and Debbie Wilkinson, and Lisa Nielsen; eight nieces and 13 nephews; nine great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 2, 1993, 12 noon, Wasatch 3rd Ward, 8170 South Short Hills Dr. Friends may call Wednesday, 7-9 p.m. at Mt. View Memorial Estates Mortuary, 3115 East 7800 South, and Thursday, 11 to 11:45 a.m. at the church.
Interment, Mt. View Memorial Estates.
