Clyde Van Hansen, age 76, died August 31, 1993 in Price, Utah.

Born May 14, 1917 in Butte, Montana, son of Joseph Stanley and Emmilena Marie Oliver Hansen. Married IvaDell Thompson on April 22, 1938 in Duchesne, Utah. She died January 3, 1985. Life long resident of Carbon County. Former section foreman with D&RGW Railroad. Worked at Wattis Coal Mine prior to owning and operating, with his wife, Hansen Upholstery for many years. Clyde loved the outdoors, especially his horses, an avid calf and team roper. He spent his life enjoying the rodeo arena.Survived by: two daughters and one son and spouses, Marie and J.K. Eardley, Price; Claudia and Pierre A. Moynier III, Price; Terry V. Hansen, Elmo; grandchildren, Joetta Hadley, Jim Bob and Markette Eardly; John, Troy, Ryan Moynier and families. Also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister, Lena Mabbutt and James Hansen, both of Price. Preceded in death by son, Clyde Joseph Hansen, and great-grandson, Jayke Kyle Hadley.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 3, 1993 at 11 a.m. at Mitchell Chapel. Family will be at Mitchell's Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to services. Friends may call Mitchell Chapel daily 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. Interment Price City Cemetery, Price, Utah.
