CHILDLESS PRINCIPAL PUTS RUMORS OF VANITY TO REST

Victoria Principal said it's time to put an end to rumors about why she doesn't have children. "I have always been reticent, and I know there have been rumors that I didn't have children because of my vanity. I didn't have children because I can't have children," the former "Dallas" star told TV Guide magazine in the Oct. 2 issue. She didn't explain further. "It was the luck of the draw. . . . It is a loss," she said. But the actress said she takes comfort in her two stepchildren from husband Harry Glassman's first marriage. She and Glassman, a plastic surgeon, were married in 1985. The 43-year-old Principal has also faced rumors that she got professional help with her looks by marrying a plastic surgeon. "When I married my husband, was I a dog?" she asked.
