Recently, there has been some talk about stopping junior high interschool sport competitions because of the money that it costs to keep them going. I think that we should keep the programs going because they give students something to do, whether they're on the team or just cheering for them.

Interschool sports also build school unity. In a time where there is concern about gangs, drugs and increasing crime among youths, we need good wholesome activities to be involved in.My opinion is the money spent for interschool sports is money well spent.
