Saliena Higham Fjeldsted, age 74, died January 15, 1994, in Murray.
Born February 3, 1919, in Centerfield, a daughter of Albert and Florence Childs Higham. Married DeLoy S. Fjeldsted on September 23, 1937, in Manti; the marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.Survived by family: A. DeLoy (Myrna) Fjeldsted; Gail (Rachael) Fjeldsted; Robert Fjeldsted; son-in-law, Frank Brunson; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Delmar Higham; sisters: Duella Christensen, Drucilla Loft, and Florence Lindhert. Preceded in death by husband; sons: Devon, Jemmie, Duane, Leland, baby boy; daughters: Helena and Lynette; brother, Edmond Higham; sisters: Ada Anderson and Gertrude Higham.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, 10 a.m., at Westbrook 3rd Ward, 6500 South Dixie Drive (3600 West). Friends may call Monday, 6-8 p.m., at McDougal West Jordan Mortuary, 1861 West 7800 South, and Tuesday at the church, 9-9:40 a.m. Interment: Centerfield Cemetery, 1:30 p.m. graveside service.
