Carol P. Smith passed away peacefully Jan. 17, 1994 of causes incident to cancer.
She was born February 27, 1945 to George A. Pewtress and Savalla Webb; but was raised by her mother and loving Dad, Wayne E. Bryant.She married Gerald L. Smith; they later divorced. They had two children, Dustin G. and Savala "Avi", who were the light of her life.
Carol attended Tooele schools and attended the College of Southern Utah for one year. She was an employee of Tooele Army Depot for nearly 29 years and made many friends through that association. During her career she and her children spent three years in Germany making memories and sharing good times.
Carol was a member of the LDS Church and held many positions. She was a loving, caring, person with a wonderful sense of humor. To all who knew and loved her, she will be sorely missed.
She is survived by her children, dad, sisters and brothers: Ellen and Byron Easton, Gene and Sherry Bryant, Don and Marilyn Bryant and Cindy and Allen Cunningham and Ray Pewtress and Dian Sadler. She has many nieces and nephews and a special friend Judy Boyer. She is preceded in death by her mother and her sister, Llona Pewtress.
Services will be held Thursday, January 20, 1994 at 1 p.m. at the Tooele North Stake Ceneter. Friends may call one hour prior to the services in church.
