"Seinfeld" ran away with the top television awards Saturday night at the 51st Annual Golden Globe Awards presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
"Seinfeld" won for best TV series, while its star Jerry Seinfeld was named best actor in a television series and co-star Julia Louis-Dreyfus won for best supporting actress.When asked what his first words to his co-star Louis-Dreyfus would be, Seinfeld said, "How did you ever win?"
Helen Hunt of "Mad About You" was named best actress in a TV musical or comedy series and Beau Bridges won for best supporting actor in a TV series for his role in "The Positively True Adventures of the Alleged Texas Cheerleader-Murdering Mom."
