Quarterback Jorge Munoz and offensive tackle Jared Tuione, a pair of California junior college players, have signed national letters of intent with Utah State, the school announced Tuesday.

Munoz, 6-foot-2, 205 pounds, was a two-year starter at Southwestern College. He was the Mission South Conference Player of the Year after completing 265 of 399 passes for 3,395 yards, 28 touchdowns and 8 interceptions. He ran and passed for 5,923 yards in 20 games at Southwestern.Tuione, 6-foot-5, 285 pounds, was a first-team All-South Coast Conference pick for Los Angeles Harbor College two years ago. He sat out last season. Tuione originally signed with BYU out of high school.
