Eleanor (Ellie) Mae McAllister, age 68, passed away October 29, 1994 in Salt Lake City, Utah of complications following an anurism.
She was born August 10, 1926 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Henry James and Mabel Leone Kelson Stone. She married Robert C. Cowan; later divorced. Married Roy Workman, later divorced. Married William Grant McAllister; later divorced.She was a member of the LDS Church. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and the Salt Lake Jaycee Auxiliary. She was a realtor with Century 21. She worked for the State of Utah for 27 years and was a telemarketer in her retirement years.
Survived by three daughters, Sharlene (Richard) Cook and Debbie (Dale) Hendrickson, both of West Valley City; Denise (Fred) White of Mona; substitute daughter, Leslie Wallberg; sister, Irene (Julius) McDonald of Murray; two brothers, Donald (Laura) Stone of West Valley City; William (Marsha) Stone of Orem; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a grandson, Shane Ivol White.
She was a giver in life to anyone who needed her help and she loved to write poetry.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 2, 1994 in the Murray LDS 24th Ward, 755 East Three Fountains Drive (4900 South). Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State, and at the church one hour prior to services. Burial, Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South.
