Vivian Martin Bezzant, 86, of Pleasant Grove died October 6, 1994 of causes incident to age.

He was born April 30, 1908 in Pleasant Grove, Utah to Alfred and Josephine Christiansen Bezzant.He married Della Johnson July 9, 1930 in Provo, Utah. The marriage was later solomized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was an active member of the LDS Church living in the Grove Ward, holding the office of High Priest. He had served as Sunday School President, High Priest Group Leader, and genealogy coordinator. He also enjoyed attending the Temple.

He loved nature, being an avid fisherman, camper and gardener. He was a devoted fan of all sports, especially of BYU. His greatest enjoyment came from his family, sharing his hobbies with his children and grandchildren.

He was employed at Geneva Steel for 30 years prior to his retirement.

He is survived by his wife Della of 64 years; three daughters: Eva Jean Young (Dallas) of Orem; Darlene Olsen (Morell) and LuDene

Barton (Norman) both of Pleasant Grove; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters: Devonna Block, Riverside, California; Donna Richardson, Redding, California. He was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters.

Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary - 500 South at 300 East, Pleasant Grove where friends may call Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. or Monday one hour prior to services.

Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
