Robert Tomsick, 79, passed away of natural causes on October 7, 1994, while fishing at Strawberry Reservoir with his son Dick.
He was born June 3, 1915 in Kennilworth, Utah to Robert Jerry and Agnes Strakey Tomsick. Married Virginia Juliano, November 25, 1939.In his youth Robert was a coal miner in Carbon County for 20 years. Moved to Salt Lake City in 1959, where he was a meat cutter for Emigration Market and later retired. He participated in senior citizens and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and his family.
Survived by Virginia Tomsick, children: Agnes Speer, Roberta Spilman, Dick Tomsick, Michael Tomsick, 11 grandchildren, one great-grandson; one brother, two sisters.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 12th 11:00 a.m. at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 4th Avenue and `T' Street. Friends may call Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at Neil O'Donnell & Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South.
