Our special and loving wife, daughter, sister and friend, died October 7, 1994 at a Salt Lake City hospital from complications of diabetes.
Valerie was born October 15, 1974 to Robert D. and Annette Daybell Coon. She married Russell J. Larsen, January 5, 1994 in Kansas. She graduated from Brighton High School in 1992. Valerie loved line-dancing, ceramics, motorcycle riding. She was a former candy striper at St. Mark's Hospital.She is survived by her husband, parents, Bob and Rosemary Coon, and Cory and Annette Hanson, brothers and sisters, Corby and Robyn Larsen, and Jeffery Coon, father and mother in law, Greg and Patricia White, and Bob Larsen, brother and sisters-in-law, Usman and Rebecka Mian, and Kari Ann Larsen; grandparents, Dean and Karen Coon, Clyde and Ruby Daybell, Richard and OraNell Rasmussen, Lois Hansen and Jack and Eva Lou Hanson, Bob and Dortha McStay, Earl and Betty Larsen; many special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Best friend, Rachel Kier.
Valerie, know that you will always be in our hearts and minds. We love you.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 11, 1994 at Ridgeland Ward Chapel, 4251 So. 4800 West at 1 p.m. Friends may call at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, Magna, Monday 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday at the church, 12 noon-12:45. Burial, Valley View Memorial Park. A special thanks to all of those at the University of Utah Hospital, 4th floor ICU who cared for Valerie. Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 340 East 400 South in Valerie's name.
