Theron Lambert Mackay passed away peacefully November 23, 1994 at the age of 68 at his home in Salt Lake City, Utah.

He was born June 19, 1926 in Murray, Utah and was the 11th of 13 children of Hyrum John and Eliza Ann Mackay. He married Grace Howell March 18, 1955 in the Salt Lake Temple. After graduating with a Ph.D in 1957 from the University of Utah he moved to California and worked as a metallurgist in the aerospace industry. His service activities in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints included Scoutmaster, Seventy and stake missionary. He served two full-time missions, first in France and then with his wife in the Ivory Coast. After his retirement he and his wife returned to Salt Lake City. He always enjoyed being with his family.Family still living include his wife, Grace; children, Hyrum (Barbara), Elizabeth, Theron Reed (Gerry), David (Laurie), Richard, Katherine (Michael) Tolman; 11 grandchildren; brother, Reed; two sisters, Inez Smith and Beth Clawson. They will all miss him.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 28, 1994 at 11 a.m. in the Grandview Ward Chapel, 2930 South 2000 East. Friends may call on Sunday, November 27, 1994 from 5-7 p.m. at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive and at the ward on Monday from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. prior to services.

Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
