Utah's child welfare system has undergone significant statutory changes in the past year. The Child Welfare Reform Act and settlement of a lawsuit created sweeping changes in two branches of state government and many state agencies.

Now, directors of those agencies have agreed to receive public comment on child welfare reform.Comments on individual cases should be addressed in writing, not in public testimony.

The hearing will be held Monday, Dec. 12, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Law and Justice Center, 645 S. 200 East, in Salt Lake City.
