High school sweethearts Tiffany JaNae Taylor and Raymond Leo Newton, both age 17, died November 3, 1994 as a result of an auto/train accident near Nephi, Utah.
Tiffany Taylor was born February 5, 1977 in Provo, Utah to James B. and Connie Carter Taylor.Tiffany brought to this earth a loving personality and sense of humor. She loved life and all it had to offer. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. Tiffany made friends easily and was loved by all. She loved to play sports and was a catcher on the Juab High softball team and played basketball and volleyball. She was very active in the Juab High FFA program and loved her teacher. She was a senior at Juab High and was a member of the LDS Church.
Our memories of Tiffany's loving nature and strength of character will see us through till we meet again.
Survived by mother and stepfather, Connie C. and Michael K. Dubinsky of Levan; 5-month-old daughter, TaKelle JaNae Newton; two brothers, Brady (Amy) Taylor and Jeremy; sister, Jamie (Ty-H son) Garrett; niece, JaBoe. Preceded in death by father, James B. Taylor
Raymond Leo Newton was born January 25, 1977 in Payson, Utah to Howard LaMar and Kae Cloward Newton.
He lived in Mona and was a senior at Juab High School and an active member of the LDS Church. He held the office of Priest. Raymond was a very kindhearted, loving son, brother, and friend. He loved most sports and was a two year letterman in football, basketball, and baseball. He also enjoyed hunting and woodworking.
Survived by his parents, five-month-old daughter, TaKelle JaNae Newton, sisters, Alesha and Kamelle, brother, Blake, all of Mona; grandparents, Leo and Tessie Cloward of Moroni; Robert (Ace) and Alice Roundy of Richfield. Preceded in death by his grandfather, Ross Newton.
Raymond will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
Joint funeral services for Tiffany and Raymond will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 7, 1994, in the Nephi LDS Stake Center, 351 North 100 West. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6-9 p.m. and on Monday, from 9:45-10-45 a.m. at the stake center. Burial, Mona Cemetery. Funeral directors, Anderson Funeral Home, Nephi.
