Former President Jimmy Carter has repaid his debt to his childhood nanny, Annie Mae Rhodes, 77, by building her a new house in Albany, Ga., built by himself and other volunteers for Habitat for Humanity. Rhodes lost her old home in the July floods. "This is the happiest day of my life," said Rhodes at the weekend housewarming, at which she was presented the keys to the house and a copy of the Bible.
