Six-month-old Felicia Duran doesn't quite know what to make of the large hairy fellow, while her cousin, Teanna Ortega, 11, eagerly waits to talk to Santa. The kindly gent had presents for all the children at the Christmas party thrown by the Utah Medical Assistance Program, which helps people who are not qualified for Medicaid or are awaiting qualification. This year's party was held at the Greek Orthodox Church reception center, and in addition to gifts, hot meals were served to everyone, thanks to the generosity of the Sizzler restaurant chain. About 250 people, mostly needy families and clients of UMAP, attended the party, said Andrea Hight of the assistance program.
