Utah State University Professor Frank Salisbury received the Founders Award from the American Association for Gravitational and Space Biology.

The organization cited Salisbury for his research in plant physiology and controlled ecological life support systems (CELSS). His research has been instrumental in developing systems to raise crops in a space environment.
