Actor Marlon Brando's son, who once worked as a bodyguard and valet to Michael Jackson, was the first witness before a grand jury considering criminal child sex abuse charges against the singer.

Miko Brando met with the panel behind closed doors Wednesday for 31/2 hours. He ignored questions from reporters as he entered and left the chambers.An unidentified man later met with the grand jury for about 15 minutes before he and the jurors went home for the day.

A 14-year-old boy has accused Jackson of sexually molesting him after a campaign of seduction ending last year.

The entertainer has denied wrongdoing. Last month, he reached an out-of-court settlement in the civil lawsuit brought by his accuser. Sources told The Associated Press it totaled $15 million.
