Richard Lee Butterworth, 71, beloved brother and uncle, passed away February 5, 1994 of natural causes.
Born December 16, 1922 in Salt Lake City to Le Grand Lee and Louise Bosch Butterworth.He is a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy from 1942-46. He was stationed on the USS Indiana. He retired from Bergen Brunswick Corp. with 35 years of service.
He is survived by a brother, George Raymond, Salt Lake City; two sisters, Ruth L. Butterworth, Los Angeles, California; and Joyce F. Pratt, Salt Lake City. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert E., on April 16, 1993. He is remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
We will all miss him dearly.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 10, 1994, 2 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, on Thursday prior to services, 12:45-1:45 p.m.
