STARS ATTEND PRIVATE RITES IN L.A. FOR JOHN CANDY

Tom Hanks, Chevy Chase, Rick Moranis and Bill Murray were among the mourners Wednesday at comic actor John Candy's private funeral in Los Angeles.

Dan Aykroyd, who delivered a eulogy at St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church, outside the church said, "It's terrible, just terrible."Candy, a popular and well-loved actor, died last week of a heart attack in Mexico, where he was shooting a movie.
