PROFESSOR EMERITUS AT U. RECEIVES WWI MEDAL

Thomas J. Parmley, University of Utah professor emeritus, has been awarded a World War I 75th Anniversary Commemorative Medal.

The presentation was made at Parmley's Salt Lake home in February. He enlisted in the Army Oct. 2, 1918, and was honorably discharged two months later following the signing of the armistice. Parmley was assigned to the Student Army Training Corps at the U.
