Verna J. Wright Stauffer, age 74, passed away March 22, 1994 at her home in home in Nephi, Utah.

Born February 3, 1920 in Fountain Green, Utah to Melvin and Elva Simonsen Johnson. She married F. Dee Wright on November 28, 1938, the marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Dee died July 24, 1966. She married David Stauffer April 12, 1984.Verna cherished her home and family. She enjoyed antiques and working in her yard. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church and held many positions until her health failed.

Survived by her husband of Nephi; and three children, Mel Wright and wife Gayle of Pleasant View; DeeAnn Pay and husband Cliff of Woods Cross; Morris Wright and wife Judy of North Ogden; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; sisters, Kenna Nelson and Thelma Inglefield. Preceded in death by parents; a sister, Iris; a brother, LaMar; and one great-grandson, Carson Packer.

She is loved dearly and will be greatly missed by her family.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 26, 1994 in the Nephi LDS 4th Ward, 345 East 500 North. Friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 North, and at the church one hour prior to services. Burial in the Vine Bluff Cemetery, Nephi, Utah.
