Myrtis Anderson Hutchinson, age 88, passed away Saturday, April 9, 1994 at her home.
She was born August 22, 1905 in Grantsville, Utah to John William and Janet Hale Anderson. She married Lind Hutchinson June 20, 1928 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. An active member of the LDS Church, Myrtis worked tirelessly on family history. She graduated from BYU, was a talented artist, a school teacher in Wendover for many years, and an example to all.Survived by her husband, Lind; daughters, Helen Wahlstrom, Carmichael, Calif.; Bernadine Butchie, Salt Lake City, Utah; three brothers, Ronald, Deward and Wayne; three sisters, Louie Bangerter, Vearis Lisenbee and Mary Ila Flinders; 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Robert.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 1994 at 2 p.m. at the Grantsville 2nd/6th Ward Chapel, 81 North Church Street. Friends may call at the church from 12:30-1:45 p.m. prior to the service. Interment in the Grantsville City Cemetery. Funeral directors, Tate Mortuary.
