Noel Fearnley Hatch, 64, a resident of Yorba Linda, California, died March 12, 1994 at his residence in Yorba Linda.
He was born December 25, 1929 in Salt Lake City. He owned and operated California Pre-School in Yorba Linda for 34 years.He is survived by his wife, Nola Tingey Hatch, Yorba Linda; daughter, Sandra H. Varin, Moorpark; son, Garland T. Hatch, Fullerton; son, Clark T. Hatch, Fullerton; daughter, Paula H. Meservy, Corona; daughter, Brenda H. Demetropoulos, Washington; son, Eric Hatch, Utah; 15 grandchildren. Also surviving are 10 brothers and sisters, Lily Hatch Lieberman, Tigard, Oregon; Elaine Hatch, San Francisco, California; Gladys Mary Hatch VanCamp, Diamond Bar, Calif.; Barbara Hatch Furse, Salt Lake City; Spencer F. Hatch, Huntington Beach, Calif.; Roy F. Hatch, Manti; Clarence F. Hatch, Denver, Colo.; Howard F. Hatch, Pleasant Grove; Dell F. Hatch, Cedar City; Rulon F. Hatch, Riverside, Calif.
Noel is a son of Spencer and Edith F. Hatch, Centerville. He attended Centerville Elementary School, South Davis Jr. High School and Davis High School. He served in the U.S. Army two years and received honorable discharge December 1954. He was in the Military Police Special Services and served in Brooks Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas.
He attended the University of Utah for two years where he was a member of Delta Phi National Honorary Fraternity in 1955; served in the Southern States Mission 1950-52 for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; served five stake missions, 1954-55, in San Antonio, Texas; while serving in the Army; 1959-61, Fullerton, Orange County, Calif; 1965-67; Anaheim, Orange County, Calif.; 1986-88, Yorba Linda, Orange County, Calif. Noel and his wife, Nola, served this mission together. He served in the Los Angeles Temple, 1967-73.
