After a valiant struggle, Dr. Donald S. Fujino peacefully passed away, April 6, 1994, following complications from cancer surgery.

Don was born in Vancouver, B.C., Canada, March 12, 1931, to Hatsuyo and Eijiro Fujino.Survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Joyce; son, Gary and daughter-in-law, Lynn; sons, Ron and Doug; daughter, Jennifer; grandchildren, Eiji and Ruth; stepbrother, David; step- sister, Marcia, his mother, Mrs. H. Tomimoto

Don completed his medical training in Canada (F.R.C.P/C)-Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians/CANADA) and, following his move to Salt Lake City in 1976, continued his practice at Holy Cross Hospital. He was a Fellow of the American College of Anesthesiologists and a Diplomate with the American Board of Anesthesiology.

The family expresses their sincere and heart-felt appreciation to the doctors, nurses and entire staff of Holy Cross Hospital for their constant concern and support. Drs. Chad Halverson and Dan Rawson are to be especially commended for their care and dedication during Don's hospitalization.

A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., Saturday, April 9, 1994 at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple. Friends may also call later that day, one hour prior to the 6 p.m. funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
