Our beloved Joyce returned home to her Heavenly Father on April 5, 1994 as a result of cancer.

Her patience and faith in meeting her challenge with cancer was an example to all those who knew and loved her. Her love and understanding for all of Heavenly Father's children will always be remembered, as will her happy laugh and cheery greeting for everyone she met.Joyce was born in Salt Lake City to Don and Jessie Young Allred on May 3, 1956. She married Greg Saderup in Salt Lake City. Joyce was an active member of the LDS Church and served faithfully in many positions. She received her temple endowments in the Jordan River Temple. She graduated from Southern Utah University with a B.S. degree in Education and a minor in Sociology. She worked at the Utah State Prison in the dental office until incapacitated by her illness.

She is survived by her devoted husband; five adoring children, Joshua, 16, Mary, 14, Jacob, 12, Elizabeth, 10 and Rachel, 5; loving parents, her dear sisters, brothers and spouses, Maurine (Gerald) Murphy, Clyda (Leif) Brattos, Kay (Audrey) Allred, Joan (John) Neron, Norman (Sherrie) Allred, Brent (Nancy) Allred; many nephews and nieces; her caring mother-in-law, Madeline Fix Saderup and family; and her dear life-long best friend, Sylvia Feurer Fenton.

Deep appreciation is expressed to the West Point Ward, her associates at work, her doctors, Dr. Blair Fenton, Dr. Gregory Litton, and Dr. Kent DiFiore, Community Nursing Service and Hospice, and her many friends for all the love, concern and kindness shown to Joyce.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 9, 1994 at 2 p.m. at the West Point Ward, 5180 West 4700 South. Friends may call Friday, April 8, 1994 from 6-8 p.m. at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive and on Saturday from 12:45 -1:45 p.m. at the ward.

Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
