MARRIAGE TO EX-GIRLFRIEND OF MENENDEZ IS NO ACT

Talk about typecasting. Travis Fine not only looks like Erik Mendendez, he married his girlfriend, too. Fine portrays Menendez in the CBS miniseries "Menendez: A Killing in Beverly Hills." His wife, Jessica, dated Menendez in 1990, the year after the two graduated from Beverly Hills High School and months after Menendez and his brother, Lyle, shot their parents to death. "When I first started dating my wife, she said I looked like this guy she went to high school with," said the 25-year-old Fine, who got married last year. "She said I looked so much like him, it was weird." "When they did go out, he was a gentleman, very sweet," Fine said. "I think that if things didn't happen the way they did, he was somebody she would have been interested in." The first part of the miniseries aired Sunday night. The second part airs Tuesday.
