Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend returned to her Heavenly Father peacefully at home, Saturday, May 21, 1994 at the age of 67. She was a strong and brave lady who fought cancer with much courage.

She was born September 28, 1926, the much loved daughter of William Earl and Emily Parker in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married Henry Edwin Luke on January 18, 1945 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in January of 1995.She was a devoted member of the LDS Church, having served in many positions in the Mutual, Junior Sunday School and as a counselor to three Relief Society presidents. She was a temple worker in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mom loved her family and devoted countless hours of time to them. She never missed an opportunity to watch them perform or support their sporting activities. She was very artistic and enjoyed making the crafts she gave to family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Henry; four sons and a daughter, David and Cheryl Luke, Randy and Karen Luke, both of Sandy, Utah; Terry Luke, West Jordan; Kevin and Janet Luke, Lincoln, Nebraska; Brent and Stacie Luke Meredith, Fullerton, California; 21 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; Mike Lewis, step-father and countless friends who loved and respected her. Her loving influence will always be felt.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 25, 1994 at 11 a.m. in the Crystal Heights LDS Ward, 1980 East Stratford Avenue (2555 South). Friends may call at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
