Jeremy Michael Long, 20, of Sandy died Sunday morning, May 22, 1994, following a single car accident Saturday, near Fillmore, doing what he always did - "Living life to the fullest."

Jer was born August 9, 1973 in Salt Lake City, attended schools in Joaquin, Texas; Logansport, Louisana; Bluffdale and Bountiful, Utah. He graduated Christobal High School in the Republic of Panama.He was a hard worker as a child and adult doing farm work for "Uncle" Max and Grandpa Long and construction in Utah and Nevada after graduation. Jeremy was a serious child, a fun-loving adult, made friends easily with young and old alike and was a loyal friend and will be missed by all. He loved the mountains, hunting, fishing, sports, having lettered in football, baseball and tennis in high school. He loved music and percussion instruments. He wanted to be a professional truck driver.

Survived by his mother and father, Pamela and Roger Steele, of Sandy; brothers, Ronnie Bruhn, Georgia and Eric Steel, Sandy, Utah; grandparents, Patricia and Jerry Jensen, Kearns, Utah; Gleason and Fern Long, Bluffdale, Utah; Christine and Conard McDaniel, Arkansas; uncles and aunts, Wayne and Tina Long, Florida; Vena Wayment, Nevada; Michael Long, Oregon; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by special great-grandmothers, Ester Keese and Olive Searcy.

Funeral services will be Thursday, May 26, 1994 at 10 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 10600 South 1700 East, where friends may call Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to services. Interment, Larkin Sunset Garden.

The family suggest contributions be made in Jeremy's names to wildlife organizations.
