Memorial Day services for local congregations of the Greek Orthodox Church will be held on Sunday, May 29, at 11:45 a.m. at the base of the Hellenic Historical Monument at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral complex, 279 S. 300 West. Andrew S. Mousalimas, who served with the 122nd Infantry Battalion composed of Greek-speaking volunteers during World War II, will speak. Wreaths will also be placed by various individuals and organizations honoring fallen Greek servicemen. Refreshments will be served following the service.
